International Gymnast Magazine has recently published an interview with Angelina Kislaya! Angelina talks about her goals for 2012, and her hopes to compete in the Olympics!

Angelina, along with Natalia Kononenko, will be competing at the Test Event in London, in an effort to qualify to compete in the Olympics.

In the Floor Exercise event final, Angelina Kislaya won the gold! Her teammate Alina Fomenko finished with a silver. Valeria Maksyuta of Israel finished in 3'rd.

Angelina Kysla, Ukraine: 1.5 to 2.5, big step forward. Full in pike second pass. Slips on front layout full but saves sitting down. Spanish piece, fairly popular on women's floor. Good double pike to end, small hop back. Nice routine.

Today was the qualifications for the Ostrava Challenger Cup!

Congratulations to Angelina Kislaya for qualifying in first (13.575) in the Floor Final! Alina Fomenko qualified in 4'th place for the final.

On the Vault, Angelina Kislaya and Alina Fomenko qualified in 6'th and 7'th place respectively.

For the Uneven Bars, Natalia Kononenko qualified in 6'th place, with Angelina Kislaya qualifying in 8'th place.

Finally, on the Beam, Yana Demyanchuk qualified in 2'nd place.

Tomorrow is the event finals!

Tomorrow is the first day of the Ostrava World Cup in the Czech Republic. Qualifications will be held on Friday and the event finals will take place on Saturday.

On November 6, Angelina Kislaya competed at the Swiss Cup. She competed with Mikola Kuksenkow. She finished in 3'rd place with a score of 39.500. Ana Porgras of Romania, and Kim Bui of Germany finished in first and second respectively. Congratulations to Angelina!

Angelina Kislaya recently competed at the 7'th Dynamo International Competition in Penza Russia. Congratulations to her team for winning the Silver medal! Also, Angelina won the Bronze on the Vault!

Ukraine has registered their team for the World Championship! Yana Demyanchuk, Angelina Kislaya, Alina Fomenko, Mariya Luvchikova, Yevheniya Cherniy, and Natalia Kononenko are selected to represent Ukraine. Good luck to all of them.


This is also Yevheniya Cherniy's last year as a gymnast as she will be retiring at the end of the year. Let's also wish her success at her last international competition of her career!

On the final day of the University Games which took place in China, Angelina Kislaya won the Bronze in the Uneven Bars final with a score of 13.850!

Japan's Yu Minobe and Mai Yamagishi finished in first and second.

Angelina also won a Silver Medal with her teammates in the team final!

Yesterday was the final day of the Ukraine Championship!

Congratulations to Angelina Kislaya for winning two medals at the event! Angelina won two Silver medals, one in the Vault and the other in the Floor Exercise.
